The Big Blog Exchange

I noticed on twitter a few people talking about The Big Blog Exchange and i was intrigued so i headed over to Google and had a gander. The Big Blog Exchange is a global competition that gives the opportunity for 16 bloggers to swap lives, blogs, cultures and places simultaneously in real life for ten days (7th June to 17th June). The competition runs from the 1st March-15th April and sounds like an insane opportunity! I immediately signed up and below is what i wrote as my reason for joining :

'I think i should win this unique opportunity because i have drive, passion and i live for new experiences. I might just write a beauty, fashion and lifestyle blog, but there is more to it than just that.I want to travel the world, share tips, gain new ideas and gain incredible memories and experiences, as well as sharing them through the world of blogging. This is why i think blogging is so influential and incredible, and why this competition is so inspirational and motivating. I'd love to share my world with someone else, and equally i'd love to walk in someone else's shoes and gain an insight into their world too. I love the relationships i have made through blogging and the connection i have with a wide variety of different people, this is why i believe blogging can change the world. Without my blog i wouldn't be where i am today, its helped me to grow as a person and this is why i believe i can do this. Please vote for me!'

I would also like to add that i love to travel, and i am determined to make 2013 my year. I turn 20 this year and for me i see that as a turning point, i will no longer be a teenager and i really want to explore the world more as there is so much to see and experience. This really would be something i could look back on and gain so many stories and blog post ideas for, travelling and writing about my experiences through my blog sounds like an absolute dream. I study Geography, what more could i want! I love where i live and i would love to share this with someone else.

I'd really appreciate if you voted for me, to give me an experience of a lifetime. I'm not just a beauty blogger, i'd love to report back to my blog about a different culture, maybe even how they view beauty, makeup and fashion, but ultimately the lifestyle and culture. One of the most rewarding things about blogging is the connections that are built and the ability to communicate and share experiences with people from all over the globe, it's simply amazing. I love learning about different cultures, and this is a challenge i would love to throw myself into with everything i have.
