Following on from my Haircare and Routine post (link here) i did last week, i also recently won a giveaway held by Beth of Birds Words to celebrate 1k followers. I love her blog so i was extra chuffed to find out i won her Big Hair 1k Giveaway! Included in this prize was the Schwarzkopf Got2b volumising styling powder, a travel sized Elnett hairspray, a travel sized Mark Hill Va Va Voom Volumising Blow Dry Mousse, a travel sized John Frieda Thickening Shampoo, a Collection nail polish in 29 Big Hair and a mini tub of the Soap and Glory Righteous Butter! What an amazing prize eh!

I love trying to achieve perfect big hair, so this prize was perfect. I adore using the thickening shampoo before a night out and then blasting my hair upside down after applying some of the Blow Dry Mousse. It adds body, shine and my hair looks thick and i find my hair dries quicker too. For even more of a lift at the roots, i like to add a touch of the Got2b Volumising Styling Powder, but i also love adding the powder on first or second day hair when i haven't used the mousse, just for a bit of, well, 'va va voom'. I love Elnett hairspray and this handbag friendly size is perfect for on the go touch ups! The red nail polish and Soap and Glory butter were also a lovely extra touch to the prize.

ReplyDeleteAw yaaay glad you liked the goodies beaut!! I've recently tried a new brand of mousse and it's not a patch on my trusty old Mark Hill! I definitely need to grab myself another bottle soon and reading this reminded me why :P
