John Frieda Full Repair Full Repair Full Body Shampoo and Conditioner

So lately I've been a bit m.i.a here on Sophierosehearts, but due to lots of revision for exams and such, I've had to prioritise and ultimately my studies have to come first. Luckily my exams are all done and dusted (till May), and i'm off uni till 4th February when semester 2 starts! I plan to go home this Sunday and stay for the week, so hopefully i can get some photo's for upcoming posts!  (again sorry for the rubbish quality photos!)

Also, i do have a 500 follower giveaway coming like i promised, however exams had taken the front seat, but now all will be back to normal!

I got in the other day from uni to a parcel, and inside that parcel was a John Frieda Full Repair  Full Repair Full Body Shampoo and Conditioner*! A lovely little surprise. I was sent these to trial for Glamour magazine as part of their tester panel! During this year i am trying to get my hair in tip top condition and to grow it to a decent length. To do so, my hair needs to get as healthy as it can, and products like these are perfect for just that! For 250ml, these typically retail for £5.89 each, a decent price.

The products comes in an easy to store and handle squeezy tube, that allows perfect distribution of the product.
The full repair full body range aims to weightlessly revive overstyled hair, damaged from heat and colour, the exact scenario of my hair! I was very eager to try these out to see what exactly makes these two products different from all the others out there claiming to do the same thing.
The shampoo has a bodifying formula, with Inchi Oil, which is rich in Omega-3. This repairs the look and feel of overstyled hair as it weightlessly restores bounce for full, flowing styles. It detangles strands, reducing the risk of breaking and snagging when combing or brushing. I found the shampoo to be of a fairly runny consistency compared to other shampoos, but did a lovely job of cleaning my hair and the scent was lovely, it reminded me of a fancy hair salon!
The Conditioner is great as it is also suggested on the back of the tube that it can also be used as an intense repair treatment if left on for 2-5 minutes, which normally i like to do with conditioners anyway. Again, the conditioner was more runny than i was used to for a conditioner, but it still achieved what it claimed and i really enjoyed using this with the shampoo.

Overall, i haven't noticed any miracles after using these two hair products for two weeks, but my hair does seem to be easier to brush through after washing (with my Denman Tangle Tamer) and my hair is not weighed down by anything. My hair also looks more full, i probably would repurchase these when offer, but i do love trying shampoo's and i think i prefer my VO5 Shampoo's and Conditioners! 4 Sophie hearts!
